Our Facial Menu

Choose by goal — hydration, brightening, anti-pigmentation, anti-ageing, acne, or pure relaxation. We'll match the right product range to your skin on the day.

Hydra Facial & Advanced Treatments

Our most-booked single facial. The Hydra Facial system cleanses, exfoliates and delivers active serums in one machine-led treatment — the result is immediate, visible glow without downtime. Layer it with Oxyjet for deeper hydration, RF for skin tightening, or Collagen for plumping. Ideal for events, photoshoots, weddings, or "I want my skin back" weeks.

For more targeted concerns we also offer Face Lifting Facial, Scrubber Facial, Acne Treatment, IR Therapy, Dermaplaning (Full Face), and a Cleansing Facial designed specifically for milia, moles, skin tags and warts.

Nimue Skin Technology

Nimue is a clinically developed skin care range built around a personalised skin consultation and prescription plan. We use it for clients who want to fix a specific concern — hyperpigmentation, environmental damage, problematic or sensitive skin, ageing concerns — rather than book a one-off treatment.

Every Nimue journey starts with a $75 Skin Consultation. From there: Therapeutic Facial (full treatment), Rejuvenation, Hyperpigmented Treatment, Smart Resurfacer, SRC Environmentally Damaged, and SRC Problematic Damaged protocols. Results show across a course — usually four to six sessions paired with at-home Nimue homecare.

Pure Fiji Botanical Facials

Pure Fiji facials use signature tropical botanicals — dilo oil, coconut, papaya enzyme, and exotic plant extracts — to nourish, hydrate and restore the skin. Indulgent sensory treatments that still deliver real results, all $150.

Six options to choose from: Dilo Coconut Hydrating Facial, Purifying Facial, Vitamin C Brightening Facial, Resurfacing Facial Treatment, Island Facial, and Purifying Papaya Enzyme Facial. The Vitamin C is our go-to for dull winter skin; the Purifying Papaya is the favourite for congestion-prone clients.

Why Glowe

Clinical credibility, K-Beauty technique

Glowe Aesthetics is Registered Nurse-supervised — the same clinical standards we apply to injectables and microneedling apply across our facial menu. Our therapists are Korean-technique trained, which means slower, more precise hands-on work, deeper attention to massage and lymphatic drainage as part of the facial itself, and the kind of finish K-Beauty is internationally known for.

Add 35 years of skincare experience through The Finishing Touch heritage and you've got the most experienced beauty team in Wellington CBD — without East Day Spa pricing.

Common Questions

Facial FAQs

How often should I get a facial?

Once every four to six weeks is the rhythm we recommend for most clients. That matches the natural skin cell turnover cycle and keeps results compounding. If you're treating a specific concern — acne, pigmentation, or post-summer damage — we'll often book a tighter course of three to four sessions before settling into maintenance.

Which facial is right for my skin?

It depends on what you want to address:

Dehydrated, dull or stressed skin → Hydra Facial. Sensitive, reactive, or barrier-compromised skin → Nimue Therapeutic. Pigmentation or melasma → Nimue Hyperpigmented Treatment. Hot summer, dry winter, or just want a glow → Pure Fiji Vitamin C Brightening. Acne-prone or congestion → Pure Fiji Papaya Enzyme or Acne Treatment.

We start with a quick consultation on every first visit so you don't have to guess.

What's the difference between Hydra Facial and Nimue Therapeutic?

Hydra Facial is a multi-step machine-based treatment that cleanses, exfoliates and delivers serums in one session — great for visible glow and a quick reset. Nimue Therapeutic is a clinically prescribed facial built around a Nimue skin consultation, designed to treat specific concerns over a course of appointments. If you want one-off radiance, Hydra Facial. If you want to fix something properly, Nimue.

How much does a facial cost at Glowe?

Nimue and Pure Fiji facials start at $150, with prescription Nimue treatments at $180. Our Hydra Facial is $199, and advanced combination treatments (Hydra Facial with Oxyjet or RF, Collagen Facial, IR Therapy) are $299. The Elixir Men's Facial is $199. Full pricing is listed on this page.

Can I wear makeup after a facial?

We recommend giving your skin 12 hours bare after a facial — let the active ingredients do their job and avoid clogging freshly cleansed pores. Most clients book their facial for the end of the day for exactly this reason. SPF in the morning is essential, especially after any peel or microneedling-adjacent treatment.

Do you offer facials for men?

Yes — our Elixir Men's Facial is designed specifically for male skin: deeper cleanse, shave-friendly exfoliation, beard-line care, and an emphasis on calming post-shave irritation. We also see plenty of male clients in our standard Hydra Facial and Nimue treatments.

What is "K-Beauty" and what does it mean for my facial?

K-Beauty refers to Korean skincare technique and product approach — emphasis on barrier health, slow layered hydration, gentle exfoliation, and longer, more massage-focused facials. Our Korean-trained therapists bring that approach into every treatment, regardless of which product range we're using. The result is a slower, more thorough facial with more hands-on time than you'd typically get elsewhere.
